Vietnam police break up dog theft ring accused of stealing about 5,200 animals

Police in Vietnam’s Gia Lai Province have dismantled a large dog theft ring that authorities say stole around 5,200 dogs since 2025, earning about VND2.6 billion (US$100,200) in illegal profits.
