Vietnam embassy objects to S.Korean county head’s remarks on ‘importing Vietnamese women’

Vietnam’s Embassy in South Korea said on Friday it had lodged a formal protest over remarks by the head of South Korea’s Jindo County that referred to “importing” women from Vietnam and Sri Lanka to address population decline in rural areas.
