Vietnam allocates vast sea areas to EVN, Petrovietnam for offshore wind surveys

Vietnam has allocated tens of thousands of hectares of sea surface to state-owned energy groups Vietnam Electricity (EVN) and Vietnam National Industry – Energy Group (Petrovietnam) for offshore wind power surveys in northern and south-central waters, as the country accelerates preparations for large-scale renewable energy development.
