Over 70 hospitalized in Vietnam’s Dong Thap after suspected ‘banh mi’ poisoning

Seventy-two people in Dong Thap Province, southern Vietnam experienced suspected food poisoning, with 71 requiring hospitalization, after eating ‘banh mi’ from Hong Ngoc 12 bakery, the same establishment involved in a 149-case outbreak in 2024, local health authorities said on Friday.
