Japan biz bankruptcies reach 13-year high in February

TOKYO -- The number of corporate bankruptcies in Japan involving liabilities of at least 10 million yen totaled 851 last month, the highest level in 13 years for a February, Tokyo Shoko Research Ltd. said Monday.
