Ho Chi Minh City reports surge in HFMD cases, 2 deaths in a week

Cases of hand, foot, and mouth disease in Ho Chi Minh City rose to alert levels in the week of March 9–15, with 837 infections recorded, up 97.1 percent from the previous four-week average, and two deaths reported, the city’s Center for Disease Control said.
