BYD’s first $130mn EV battery plant gets off ground in Vietnam

Kim Long Motor and BYD Battery on Tuesday signed a strategic cooperation deal and officially broke ground on BYD’s first electric vehicle (EV) battery manufacturing plant in Vietnam, a project with a total investment of US$130 million across two phases.
